We Need Your Help
We are a non-profit NO kill shelter that relies on the public for donations to keep our doors open and the puppies and dogs healthy. On a average day we have over 25 dogs to feed, shelter and keep up to date on all their medical needs. This does not take into account the special needs dogs that we get in that may take months if not longer to adopt out. These dogs may require lengthy surgeries and tend to rack up large medical bills. If people like you did not help out by contributing we would not be able to give these dogs the medical care they so desperately need. There is also the needs of the shelter and the staff. This year we are holding both of our port-a-pit events just to pour cement in our outdoor kennels. This is to keep the dogs out of the mud for their health and also so staff can take the time to help care for the animals not just to clean the mud out of their fur.
If you can not give a monetary donations there are lots of ways you can still help us out.
The shelter is always in need of the following items.
Paper Towels
Bleach
Old Blankets
Leashes / Collars
Shampoo / Conditioner
Grooming Tools / Supplies
Dog treats and Dog food. We use retriever dog food from tractor supply. We do take any brands though.
Dog toys. Prefer "Kong" they last longer but again any is greatly appreciated
Fabrics / old pillows any craft type stuff we can use to recycle into things for the dogs.
Femine Pads for use of our belly bands. We will be selling these online soon.
Dog bowls and dishes
Pretty much anything you can think of the shelter would greatly appreciate accepting.
