Skinny Little Buddy's Animal Rescue, Mission Statement

It is the mission of Skinny Little Buddy's Animal Rescue, Inc. to save as many unwanted, homeless and helpless dogs and puppies in and around Williams County Ohio as humanly possible.  Also,  to provide food, shelter and medical attention to those dogs and puppies who are in need. We rescue dogs from kill shelters and receive dogs and puppies from owners who no longer want their pet for whatever reason. We are NOT a kill shelter. We keep our dogs and puppies until we can find them a suitable forever home. We do not turn our backs on dogs and puppies in need.

We are a group of volunteers with big hearts and lots of love to give our dogs and puppies. Every cent that is donated to us and all adoption fees go directly to the dogs and puppies. We have NO paid employees. The unconditional love we get back from the dogs and puppies is enough for us. If you could, please help us with a small donation. Click here to donate Now!

  Now working with Petco

We are now working with Petco at Talmadge and Monroe in Toledo Ohio. As of now we will be doing adoption events there monthly. We hope to have a happy and eventful partnership and adopt out many of our loving dogs and puppies.  Come by and see us.  Our adoption schedule is on our calender.

  UPDATE Hannah Is NOT missing

No Longer LOST DOG

Hannah has been returned to her owners. A little bit roughed up by something on her adventure away from home. We would like to thank all those who looked for her in the past few days.

We hope that Hannah has many great years ahead.

Hannah is a Great Dane/German Sheppard mix. She is 6 months old and is a large dos, weighing around 70-80lbs. Her fur is brindle color(mixed brown and black), with her nose being completely black. Whe last seen she was wearing a light purple collar with silver reflective dog bone pattern.

She is a special family dog. We adopted her from the cascades Humane Society and are training her as a therapy animal. Though hyper due to being a puppy, she is very friendly and loves children and other animals. She loves to explore so she might approach people or other animals.

She has been missing since Tuesday April 13th, when the dog broke free of her leash. She lives on Dawn Drive in Hillsdale Township Michigan. Dawn drive is located near the corners of Lake Pleasant Rd and Mauck Rd half way between the towns of North Adams and Hillsdale Mi.

We are offering a reward for assistance in her safe return home. She has a microchip that can be scanned by any veterinary or humane society to help identify her.. If found contact Dan/Angela at 517-287-9077

Ohio E. coli OutBreak (New Enemy of your Dog)

Because of a growing outbreak of E. coli in Ohio. Many of the dogs we have seen lately have been infected.  Take the time to read about the outbreak spreading thru Ohio.  We will be looking for ways to help build a dogs immune system to help combat E. coli and hopefully will do a updated story on how to help prevent your dog from getting it.  This can be deadly in dogs so please take the time to study up on it yourself if you are a dog owner. We have had a few puppy unfortunatly pass from this growing threat.

The growing number of E. coli cases reported in Ohio has now officially been deemed an outbreak by the Columbus Public Health department.  Also, the three cases from Franklin County have genetic links, confirming they generated from the same source.  And, in addition to the seven we reported yesterday, four new cases have been reported, raising the total number to 11 since early this month.  The seven cases—which were reported outside Franklin County—are pending processing by the state lab and have not been officially linked to the three in Franklin County, said Ohio Department of Health spokesman Kristopher Weiss. The three linked Franklin County cases were not linked to the 52-year-old Gahanna woman who died May 27.
